Fortide 200/6 mcg Inhaler by Getz Pharma is a prescription combination inhaler containing budesonide 200 mcg and formoterol fumarate dihydrate 6 mcg per actuation. Budesonide is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces inflammation in the airways, while formoterol is a long-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles to help improve airflow. The inhaler is indicated for asthma management in patients aged 12 years and older and for maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The metered-dose inhaler contains 120 actuations and uses an HFA 134a propellant. After each use, rinse the mouth with water and spit it out to help reduce the risk of oral thrush.
